Depending how long you have lived in the village, you may or may not know about the river that runs from Melbourn Bury, through the outskirts of Melbourn and Meldreth and on into the river Cam. There is a great walk to be had, starting at the Shene Mill / Riverside Guest House on the Melbourn and Meldreth border,
Continuing through the Melbourn College playing fields,
and finishing up at the Water Mill / Church in Meldreth.
